SPECIAL ORDERS
This Special Orders page shows you some of the jewelry that has been made up for Democratic clubs or for Democrats from different states. Since DEM DONKEYS is based in Texas, most of the samples are for Texas Democratic organizations, but pins and pendants are available for almost every state, excluding Hawaii with all its islands! The shapes of some states makes them more suitable for pins because of the center of balance, but pendants are possible for many states.
Jewelry can be made to order from club logos if you have a good picture available and the design lends itself to a flat piece of jewelry. The pricing for special orders is in line with similar pieces on this site. There is no added charge for rendering your specific design unless it is very elaborate. DEM DONKEYS can tell at a glance whether a logo pin or pendant is possible.

STATE PINS
Shown here are 17 state pins: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. New pins are added to the picture as new orders come in. The kicking donkeys are polished brass; the state maps are brushed sterling silver. The state pins are not made to scale; these measure approximately 1 1/2" by 1 1/2", but the pins sizes will vary in size according to the shape of the state.

HARRIS COUNTY DEMOCRATS LOGO PIN
This sterling silver rendering of the HCD pin is available in different sizes and metals, in pins, pendants, and charms. The copyrighted design is officially owned by HCD, Houston's liberal wing of the Harris County Democratic Party with a fifty year proud tradition of liberalism. $30 for the pin or for a pendant and 20" sterling chain.

ROADWOMEN PIN
This pin is copied from the logo of River Oaks Area Democratic Women. It is sterling silver and comes in sizes ranging in price from $25 to $40.
